Deployment of OnDemand
OnDemand is a computer based application that allows its users to train in the classroom or on-line, in a simulated database. This database is available to the user 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, from the convenience of a personal desktop with JWICS connectivity. The tool utilizes a developer which captures the process being conducted in eZHR, and formulates this content into a tutorial. The tutorial can be viewed and utilized in a simulated environment, or published as hard copy curriculum.
Deployment of eRecruit
The DIA decided to transition from an existing recruiting system and implement PeopleSoft HCM eRecruit module. There was an opening for the project lead position and an eRecruit functional analyst position, each of which had proven to be difficult to fill. Northrop Grumman came to E-volve for help with filling both positions.
E-volve was contracted by Booz.Allen & Hamilton, to provide technical support services for the Joint Chief of Staff's (JCFS's) Electronic Joint Manpower and Personnel System (e-JMAPS) system. The services we provided include: software engineering, operations, help desk support and classroom instruction in support of the PeopleSoft e-JMAPS system.
E-volve's responsibilities included making the customizations necessary, using PeopleTools, to identify and handle unfunded temporary organizations. This also includes writing interface programs using SQR to migrate existing Joint Manning data into e-JMAPS, and creating standard and ad-hoc queries to provide reporting capability. E-volve took the lead on a major PeopleSoft Application and PeopleTools Upgrade for the Joint Chief of Staff (JCS).
The eZHR Forms application is a customized tool built on the FormSoft FormFinder commercial-off-the-shelf product. It utilizes Adobe Acrobat to launch forms and capture appraisal information. The scope of functional support has recently expanded to include planning and deploying mobile training teams world-wide to provide hands-on training to users in the field.
Critical to any HRMS system is the proper maintenance of the information describing the positions within the organization.
